Mechelenis asuv B&B De Lachende Engel pakub erineva kujundusega teemalisi tube, kus on istumisnurk. Turuväljak ja botaanikaaed on 10-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel. Kogu majutusasutuses on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Kõikides B&B De Lachende Engeli majutusruumides on konditsioneer, tasuta minibaar, kohvi ja tee valmistamise võimalus ning istumisnurk koos lameekraaniga televiisoriga. "The Host Rita was absolutely amazing! Unfortunately during our stay I ended up in hospital.. She came to the hospital with fresh clothes for me and made sure I was ok. She was amazing and such a good host."

"Fabulous B&B very conveniently located for the railway station and old town of Mechelen, extremely comfortable, clean and has bucket loads of character. The owner Rita was exceptionally helpful, organised and did her best to look after me. She made me wonderful breakfasts which set me up for the rest of the day! I loved my stay at De Lachende Engel and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it."

The only thing I would suggest to be aware of is that being an historic (but beautiful) house, the stairs are narrow and quite steep, there are also a couple steps to enter the B&B, so it may not be entirely suitable for travellers with mobility issues. Rita very kindly offered to carry my bags up and down the stairs, and there are plenty of lights, including actually on the stairs so they are very clear and well lit."
"We had a very comfortable stay in the room on the second floor with the extra living space. Rita is a very welcoming and helpful host and provided wonderful breakfasts. The B&B is conveniently located half way between the railway station and the centre."

"The location was great for walking around the city. The host Rita was extremely helpful and generous, she provided everything we needed plus extras like packed lunch and free drinks. We had the second floor which was a large, comfortable lounge and bedroom next-door. Both rooms had air conditioning."

"Had a wonderful stay here. The room was huge and so cosy, with lots of beautiful things to admire. The washroom and outdoor patio was the same, I only wish I'd had more time to enjoy. The breakfast was personalised and also very generous with options for all diets and even the chance to take some food with me for the day. Would highly recommend a stay here."
