"Location was great. And nothing beats the local dishes for breakfast. The convience of the washer and dryer right in the apartment was awesome!! I think the gated area added to the security of the apartment, and so you feel safe staying there."

The acces road is quite steep and parking might be challenging. Quite a lot of mosquitos during the night.

"The location was perfect for what we were looking for, half way between diamond beach and Reykjavík. We arrived quite late and it was easy to check in and parked right outside. We also got to the see the northern lights that night!"

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The room was basic and nothing fancy but met our needs and was clean and that’s all we expected and were looking for.

"Quaint, cozy village house with friendly, hospitable Belgian hosts who speak Bulgarian and will make you feel right at home. If you're into luxury and 5-star hotels, do not book here. This is a great place to stay if you like the countryside, peace and quiet, dogs and smiling faces. Totally recommended! P.S.: The lighting in my Bedroom 1 was state-of-the-art."

The only downside was that the restaurant was closed due to the holidays.

"Great location, owner's pleasant personality, cleanliness, the feeling of home away from home,availability of all basic amenities, quietness, size of the accommodation, and the cost, parking on the enclosed compound added to the feeling of safety. "The fales are super nice with ocean view and were clean and well maintained. The family was so great and the food amazing. Bathroom was also ok. Snorkelling was good too, close to the beach you can see many small colorful fish. Another guest even saw a small (harmless if you leave him in peace) reef shark outside at the very edge of the reef. Easy access to eg ocean trench which is worth a visit. It felt like coming home and paradise"
