My only complaint is about the bed… it was hanging in the middle and was really noise. Needs a new bed.

"The location was out of this world. Having various room types: stone houses, bungalows or tents. Clean & calm if you are searching for some relaxation in the middle of the nature. "Maguy and her husband are excellent hosts. Very friendly, breakfast is a lovely surprise every day with local fruit and dishes, made with love. Peaceful, quiet place where you find your peace. With only 2 rooms you almost are alone in the property and the swimmingpool. As we had our flight in the evening we could enjoy the whole day of the facilities. Magnificent view, a little paradise on earth. The room is very spacious with ensuite bathroom. If we can mention one thing to improve: the shower needs a renovation. Further on make sure you have good products to keep the mosquitos away. But absolutely no reason to stay away from this quiet little gem!"

"The kindness of Elen and John was above and beyond what you could ever expect . Elen made us an excellent dinner . She also let us keep our room through the next day so that we had somewhere to return to to shower after a day out ( our flight home was in the evening) . These are good people."

"This guy gets it. This is what B&B felt like at its infancy, before it became a property business ROI machine. Here you have actual conversations and human atmosphere. Host is very friendly, joins for breakfast chat, and is a really wise and cool person, who is happy to talk tourist things, history, and life. Overall the place has 3 small rooms, with a huge shared central room, so it must be fun for friend groups. Amenities, location, and basics are fine. Furniture is amazing and well kept antics. Breakfast is basic but local and fresh. I traveled for business, but will come back with family. :)"

They have a great system in place for the shared showers so don’t be worried about that. Hateruma is a gorgeous place to explore, highly recommend! Also booking system was super easy."

Bed a little harder than our preference but I think that’s normal! We supplied our own music, frequent power cuts but the generator kicked in quickly.

"The apartment was spacious, lots of parking space, and the hosts were very nice and helpful. We loved the ski boots heater as well."

The shuttle bus stop was not close as we were led to believe. We were told that it was few minutes away, which may be true when you go downhill and without skiis, but with ski boots on and carrying skiis it is not an easy climb up or down at all. We ended up driving to the lifts which wasn't a huge problem since parking space was usually available especially if you go early in the morning. Also don't forget to bring soap, toilet paper, paper towels and spices if you intend to cook.

There was an initial problem with payment to secure the booking. Our French is very poor & it was difficult to communicate with staff on the phone & by email. Some black mould in the wardrobe.

"Staff helpful & friendly Location good: short walk to town, bars, restaurants close by & bus stop outside of the hotel. View from balcony of the mountains was beautiful. Rooms clean and comfortable. "I absolutely loved this place! The views from the rooms are simply breathtaking. The open-roof shower was a unique and unforgettable experience—it truly felt like showering under warm tropical rain. The location is perfect, with everything just a short drive away. Breakfast was delicious and full of fresh local flavors, giving me the energy I needed for the whole day. Most of all, the owner and her staff were incredibly welcoming and always happy to help. They shared many useful tips and left me with a lasting impression of genuine Samoan hospitality."

"Location is ok, 10 minutes walk to Somerset MRT station. Cleanness was ok, not spotted but acceptable. Air conditioning worked well. As the cheapest private room with private bathroom in the whole city this place is worth its price. Good contact with owner via whatsapp. I would come back."

The owner does not treat this place like a hotel, so for example, toilet paper is replaced by the guests themselves.

"Perfect location to explore the old town of San Marino. Walking around to the cable car. There was another family staying there so it was a bit awkward with them using the same front door and walking past our room. It meant our bathroom and living area were not as private as they could have been. But as we were mostly out exploring it didn't bother us much. Very friendly hosts who explained everything. We didn't find the aircon despite it listing it had it...."

"1) Perfect location for those who want to explore the island, stay away from the tourist hot spot and experience “real” Aruba. 2) The house is very atmospheric and cozy, with lots of wooden furniture, an old wooden staircase that creaks charmingly, and a balcony from where you can observe iguanas on a large ficus tree just a few meters away. 3) Ingrid is an amazing host and a lovely person. She gave us great travel advice and was there when needed, without being intrusive. 4) Breakfast was just amazing!"

No hot water didn’t come as a surprise since we had read the reviews. Even though it’s common in Aruba, it’s worth mentioning.

"Super friendly staff, Natalija met us at the ferry to take us to Villa Nora Hvar and gave recommendations for what to do and how to get around. The room was spacious and the location was very central."

"Good location near the main street with bus stop and supermarkets and restaurants. Room is clean and bathroom is newly renovated. Although the room is next to a main street there was no traffic noise. Great with parking included and breakfast included. Good with some cookies and dried wasa bread and coffee is available all day."

The wardrobe in the room was broken, the door cannot be opened. A towel for the floor in the bathroom was missing. The breakfast is a simple business breakfast and not a holiday breakfast buffet. Stairs to come to your room. So if you have luggage it is a bit trouble.
