"Location is ok, 10 minutes walk to Somerset MRT station. Cleanness was ok, not spotted but acceptable. Air conditioning worked well. As the cheapest private room with private bathroom in the whole city this place is worth its price. Good contact with owner via whatsapp. I would come back."

The owner does not treat this place like a hotel, so for example, toilet paper is replaced by the guests themselves.

Their is nothing i can assume to be bad. Everything was above my expectations. Everyone should try it at least. No one will say that they found something bad on this hotel.

Host speaks only French and is rather unheplful, however I might got such impression because of language barrier ;)

"Gorgeous view from the apartment! There's a big window showing the beautiful mountains below. Beautiful interior design throughout!! The host was also very friendly 🌷 Buiilt as a compact studio apartment with a large bed, all beautifully designed. Next door there's a room that serves as a small kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave and capsule coffee machine. Lots of attractions nearby - Nimrod Fortress, Hermon Mountain site and cable car, Tel Dan, Ghajar village and Banias National Park."

Fortunately we travelled with a 4x4 wheel drive car -- a must-have to negotiate the steep roads in the village.

As a grown up solo traveller, who is oftentimes ready to accept challenging environments, I cannot make any critical remarks. Right now due to the russian full scale invasion, hospitality businesses all over Ukraine are struggling for survival, which makes critical remarks even more misplaced. The bottom line is – I liked the property.

"Modern, clean, self contained with bedrooms having on-suite bathrooms which also provided convenience and privacy. minimalistic though everything you expect from a hotel accommodation/apartment we had , elements from the spa were also included dressing, gowns and slippers, beach towels. "My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Watercolours between the 17-24 December 2025 and would thoroughly recommend it! The hosts are wonderful, remarkably kind and hospitable - they made our first experience of Bermuda very special, adding a touch of magic to a much needed break. Watercolours is a beautiful home, very tastefully decorated, with the guest rooms luxurious and well appointed. Much thought and consideration has gone into making sure every need is met, so that it really feels like a home from home. Also helpful advice about where to go and how to get there with bus/ferry tickets available to purchase from the host rather than having the hassle of buying these from the bus station. We were so fortunate to have booked this place - it was outstanding in every way!"

"The host, Andrae was super friendly and helpful, I was able to check in a bit late, he also organised an early morning taxi for me to get to the airport. The location is great, right in the middle of Philipsburg and just minutes walk from the beach. You're surrounded by restaurants and shops. Price was excellent."

Sehr bequemes Bett mit offenen Bettende und guter Matratze. Sehr ruhig. Frühstück mit verschiedener Wurst, Käse und Marmeladen und Gebäck. Vermieterin sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich."

Das kleine Badezimmer(chen) ist wirklich sehr klein. Ist aber kein Kritikpunkt, weil es wurde bei der Buchung schon drauf hingewiesen.

Actually, description was ambiguous: contrary to expectation, the toilet, bathroom and kitchen were shared (with the hosts and with the renter from the other room that is hired within the property), not private.

Everything was perfect.

"The location is beautifully landscaped, with lots of trees and flowers that brought in a variety of wildlife to view! We saw several beautiful birds and cute lizards. Tanja and Leo were extremely kind, welcoming, and accommodating! They provide a binder with plenty of information about the beaches, wildlife, and restaurants. We loved meeting the cats and dogs on the grounds! They were so cute and friendly. Renting a vehicle was easy and allowed us to visit nearby beaches with ease. The outdoor shower was refreshing and beautiful."

There is no air-conditioning, so it could get hot, but it was managable enough. There is a ceiling fan, and if the bathroom door is open, it allows for a lovely breeze. The net for mosquitos is helpful, but we found we needed to supplement with additional bug spray and a citronella candle. All in all, it was not too bad, and it was definitely managable!
