"It’s in a good location in the old town. The restaurant Maggies is great and the staff in the restaurant are really welcoming."

"The rooms are certainly more dated than the pictures convey. And my main issue was that the room was dirty. It wasn’t cleaned before we got there and nor whilst we were there. We were on the 8th floor and every time we came out of the lift there were staff sat on the floor in the corridor dismantling Xmas trees, folding cutlery in napkins etc. we literally had to step over them to get to our room."

"Housekeeping was poor. We changed rooms as we were initially put in a room which was directly below the kitchen of restaurant on next floor. Unbelievably noisy and as we had just arrived off an eight hour flight and five hours time difference it was totally unacceptable and really bad practice to place anyone in this room especially as prices are at the top end ! We were moved after some difficulties to a quieter room but with poor clothes storage. On a five week North America tour and no to put anything Definitely wouldn’t return or recommend"

"Very nice staff . Great location for site seeing around the old city . A few mins walk to nearest metro stop - excellent to get around Montreal. A lovely restaurant called Maggie Oaks is attached to the hotel .. had breakfast there and it was gorgeous."

"We had some issues with the hot water supply in our room .. however the staff was very nice. We changed rooms and the issue wasn’t really resolved but they went out of our their way to compensate us.. free breakfast !"

"The location was excellent - a quiet street around the corner from great streets for walking, eating, sightseeing, etc. The concierge was outstanding - In addition to making great suggestions for restaurants and tours,she went out of her way to find medical assistance for a member of our group. The rest of the staff were very welcoming and efficient. The rooms were not huge, but were very comfortable - comfortable beds and great pillows! The housekeeping is the only element of this hotel where it fell short - our rooms were not made up until after 5:30 at night - we did not get clean towels and the waste baskets were not emptied. The cocktail lounge was great - interesting seating and attentive staff. All in all a great stay!"
