"Great stay. Very kind host, nice and clean rooms, small kitchen and a small patio to relax. Good location near the town and easy to reach. We were even allowed to park our car inside the gate, which was a nice plus. Great value for money"

"No airconditioning, so it did get hot sometimes. The house is well shades though so it’s not unbearable. We didn’t have hot water in our shower but because it was so hot outside we didn’t mind nor ask the host to fix it, so maybe it usually does work."

"The place is value for money, excellent for budget travellers. The kitchen is adequately stocked for cooking meals. Esther was helpful and friendly They cleaned the room once every other day, changed the sheets and towels as well. Everything was extremely clean and they made sure to keep the place tidy."

"Room was quite stuffy in the afternoons. Being in a desert in the summer, it gets quite hot Would enormously benefit if there is a fan in every room."

"rooms newly renovated. very clean and comfortable. seemed to be well insulated. a short walk to the town (8 mins). there’s a decent restaurant a few meters away. good location in the edge of town so it was fairly quiet. also 2 mins from the bus terminal. nice sunset view from the courtyard"

"Esther was an amazing host and her place is only a 1 minute walk from the bus stop. The property feels very new and is exceptionally clean. There are good cooking facilities and a nice area to chill outside of the rooms."

"Mary was very welcoming, the room and the whole hospedaje were quite clean and nicely decorated. It was also super useful to be able to use the kitchen - can definitely recommend! The city center was also within 10 min of walking distance"

"I absolutely loved my stay at Casa Dorada. I arrived in Atacama tired after travelling from Bolivia, but the moment I walked into the accommodation I felt relieved. It was quiet, peaceful and the shaded patio immediately gave me a sense of calm. The rooms are spacious, with plenty of storage, the bed is super comfortable, the bathrooms are spotless and very close to the rooms and the kitchen is really handy. The location is also great: it’s in a quieter area than Caracoles Street (which I actually preferred!), very safe and just an ~8-minute walk to the centre of Atacama. Super convenient. Ester and her sister are incredibly kind and helpful. On the day of my check-out, I went for a bike ride and left my luggage there. When I came back, they asked if I wanted to take a shower and immediately offered me a clean towel at no extra cost. This place is a 10/10 and was without a doubt one of the highlights of my weekend in Atacama."

"The property is located just up the hill from the Pueblo de Artensanos (craft village). Probably not a problem most of the time but trying to catch up on some sleep on a Saturday afternoon was impossible due to the music being played at the Pueblo! Felt overpriced for the less than salubrious location."
