"The owner was very nice. He made sure that we’re ok and even offered us some food and wine because he was worried that we were hungry😁 It’s good place to stay if you’re interested more in exploring the city and looking for accommodation just to sleep and rest. Nothing more nothing less."

Choose this place only if you have car or love to hike. Unfortunately, we didn’t check and it turned out that to come to this place you need to go up all the time, which is like 3 km. We didn’t have car so we walk there. Of course it’s just our oversight, but i wish it would be written in the description. Nevertheless the views were stunning.

"It's a basic place with shared bathroom, bathroom and common areas all kept clean all of the people working are friendly and helpful."

În special Spatioase dormitoare cu paturi largi și lenjerie de un alb imaculat, o sală de mese bine amenajată și un balcon care oferă priveliște splendidă. Sincer recomand!"

"The accommodation was very nice. My moto-friend and myself used the fridge to store some food, locally bought in the supermarket. There as no front/backyard to park motorbikes. We however parked in front of the house. We felt confident to park them outside. Nice Mountain view from the balcony."

"The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food at the restaurant was lovely. The breakfast that you get in the morning was tasty and a large portion. 2 cute little dogs running around on the farm. Cows grazing outside your door."

For summer months, a fan would be ideal in the room.

"What a charming place. The lodge was super cosy and beautifully decorated. The views from the balcony and roid terrace are stunning. Lots of amazing walks straight from the doorstep.The log fire in the bedroom was a fantastic touch."

"This is not a standard hotel or gite or whatever, this is a special place. Expect no luxury here, this is not what Karims guesthouse is about. It is about being in a small village and in nature. Basically, this is as close to a home stay as you can book on Booking. You can choose a room or the stilted house (recommended) in a garden full of interesting plants. Your water comes from a well or the river, your coffee directly from the bushes around you, and the food from...actually I don't know where, but it is amazing. One of the Kpime waterfalls is just a short, but nice walk away, and you can roam the village or take a long walk to Yikpa waterfall (~4 h one way). And when you come back, you lay in a hammock with a fresh and local cocoa or sit in the garden. And the best, you don't need to be in Kpalime, with all the chaos, noise, and smells. Although it is something different, I really enjoyed my stay. Karim is a fantastic host and La montagne verde exactly my type of stay."

Just be aware what you are booking, and there is nothing negative about it.

"Bueno en primer lugar agradecer a Dios por estos días bonitos que pasamos en familia, la casa muy linda, limpia y ordenada tiene de todo, a mis hijos les encantó, ver a las vacas al rededor, viví una experiencia de 5 noches inolvidables junto a mis padres, todo muy bien, gracias a los señores dueños de la casa que nos atendieron muy bien. Lindo lugar. Gracias"

A mi me encanto todo, sobre todo a mis hijos el espacio es ideal para los niños.

"Our stay at Steigenberger was very pleasant, the same day we started with a spa treatment - the Pharaoh bath, we got a special deal two for one. We had 3 massage therapists who took care of us💆‍♀️Higly recommending it! But let's get back to the beginning, we got welcomed by Ahmed, who gave us a beautiful room with a balcony facing the Nile. For many a dream come true.. You will be welcomed wih a refreshing cold hibiscus tea. The breakfast buffet there has a huge selection and in the evening you can also have a dinner buffet with a view to the Nile if you sit outside. There are two pools, gym, some stores with souvenirs around the hotel and even a swing to take a beautiful sunset picture with a view to the Nile. Thank you Ahmed for your assistance, we felt very welcome thanks to you. 💯☺️"

The surrounding area is poor, but don't be scared, the locals are welcoming and kind. Sometimes you have to be patient so order your breakfast early if you have an adventure day planned.

You need a car to get to the property from the boat ferry in Fare. It takes an hour and 20 mins to walk.

"Location for us was wonderful. Nice views, quiet village, close to a few beautiful hikes. Spacious apartment with a kitchen that had everything you needed (no oven, no foods like salt/sugar/butter/tea/coffee, so bring your own) and a large balcony. Kind host with sweet dog."

For us, it was perfect.

"We booked last minute because of issues with previous accommodation, not only they quickly prepared the place and let us see it before we pay but they also offered us a higher standard villa since it was free! In the morning we got fresh local snack from the owner and fruits as a welcome gift. Outside there is a hammock and small playground for the kids. After traumatic experience from the day it was a super nice relief!"

Could do with a kettle since boiling water in the pot in not comfortable (I noticed kettles are not really common in apartments in Panama though)

"Aida majutus oli väga ehe. Uni oli hea, kuigi alguses oli magama jäämiseks tuba jahe. Jahedal ajal võik soovitada villasokid kaasa võtta. Soovitan ka plätud kaasa võtta, sest wc ja dush on eraldi majas ja sinna on siis mugavam liikuda."

"C’était super ! L’endroit est magnifique. Les bungalows sont propres, les draps et la salle de bain aussi. C’est agréable de se sentir confortable pendant une longue boucle en scooter. Ils ont un restaurant avec du choix à la carte, ce qui est un point fort puisqu’on est dans un tout petit village où il n’y a pas grand chose Attention, le village de Kong Lor est très éloigné de Na Hin. Notre auberge nous avait dit qu’on ne mettrait que 40 minutes à rejoindre l’auberge. On a mis 1h30, ne vous faites pas surprendre par la nuit qui tombe. C’est dangereux entre les nids-de-poule et les vaches en plein milieu de la route"

A small table or something to sit at would be nice in case you want to play cards, etc.

"Benny was very friendly and accommodating but English/communication was difficult. Simple, rustic and clean. Beautiful outside bed on the verandah."

Just a heads-up for no WiFi, card machine or bath towels.

mas que no me gusto, es solo una observacion, ellos viven en el segundo piso y se siente el ruido en la planta baja.Pero solo un detalle

"Todo! Entorno natural, spa, gimnasio muy completo y realmente destacable, habitaciones, comida fresca y bien hecha, habitaciones y demás instalaciones, espacios comunes, actividades, todo!!!!! Es un lugar al que puedes volver tantas veces quieras y nunca te aburres!"

Lo único a destacar sería que agreguen huevos y opciones más proteicas al desayuno y que mejoren las bicicletas porque los caminos no son sencillos para pasear en ellas, les falta mantenimiento a esas bicicletas también.
