"The hot water in the shower lasted a long time - a rare thing in Egypt. The bathroom was nicely tiled. The room has a chill vibe and they upgrade my room for free. The diving instructor Mustafa was awesome. Really great guy and I felt very safe on my first dive."

Our dive master Ahmed was so professional and knowledgeable and really looked after us. I really recommend doing the boat trips to ‘trees’ I think was the site. Was incredible was 60 euro so a bit expensive but very good diving. Also highly recommend a night dive!"

"Amir Palace Hotel is located in a working-class neighborhood near the station. I’m the side streets there are all kind of small shops and market stalls. The staff of the hotel do not speak English very well, but they are friendly and helpful. They arranged for me to travel to Abydos by taxi and with a translator to visit the famous Temple of king Seti I and the 5,000 year old enclosure of king Khasekhemwy."
