"The chalet is lovely, it's in a really good location, right in the middle of La Chapelle-d'Abondance, it has parking behind in the courtyard and it's just off the main route through the village. We were advised close to our check-in time that the heating had had an issue, there were some radiators left for us, but we had an 11 month old baby and we needed more (the host's sister dropped off more on the next day) and the heating was fixed on the first day the plumber was available. The host even came over to apologise and he helped me jump start my car (the temperature went down to -10). It's a lovely chalet, it might need a little modernising, but you're not really there for the chalet, more the mountains, skiing/snowboarding. I would have no hesitation to come back and stay here again."

We enjoyed the quiet, private outside space which had table, chairs and loungers. The absolutely beautiful host's garden provided a lovely setting. The host and hostess were welcoming and friendly. We felt quite at home."
