"This traditionally built wooden-frame chalet-style house is situated on the edge of the forest. It provided ample room for the two of us, but could easily accommodate a family. The situation is peaceful, with birdsong and the distant sound of the ocean. The beach is a short walk away, either along the road or through the edge of the forest. There are a some shops and restaurants at the beach, including La Plancha du Pecheur, which serves good food and has a large sheltered terrace overlooking the sea. The railway station and a cycle hire shop are within an easy walk. The village of Ondres is a few minutes drive away and has bars, restaurants, shops and a useful Carrefour supermarket. There is also a tourist information office with maps of local walking and cycling routes. The nearby nature reserve at Marais d'Orx is worth a visit."

"The quiet place, and the easy way and clear instructions to reach it. The other part is the price. Near the apartment, there is a boulangerie very interesting with a lot of delicious brioches, cookies and so on. An alternative way to have a special breakfast."
