La Villa Augustine

"It was a great place to stay, very central to Dieppe, with a good bakery just over the road. The owner Colin made us very welcome and was happy to recommend various restaurants and places to go. The house was pleasantly quirky with interesting decor and was well equipped. Everything worked well and it was very comfortable. We went to the Saturday market in the town which was fabulous. Lots of local traders selling all sorts of food - we bought lots!"

"The hotel owner met us outside and showed us to our room. Although the language barrier was a challenge, we were able to understand each other. We're grateful for his understanding; he was able to explain the location of the nearby attractions, the embankment, the market, and restaurants."

"Just everything! The location, the welcome, the spacious and well equipped and tastefully designed and decorated rooms, and shared areas to relax in. We only stayed one night but would love to return. We walked to the ferry port but there is a bus from the railway station, which is just minutes away. The town is lovely with plenty of eateries and attractive architecture. It was good to see it is still lively in January."

"First things first, it actually looks like the photos on line, there’s a first. Colin was a fantastic host. Pre checkin, check in and departure this guy knows what hospitality means. The apartment was clean comfortable and well appointed and all the little extras just made this stay so memorable. Colin gave us suggestions for meals , you can’t go past L’O 2mer for fantastic seafood and also what we should see in the town. The location was perfect, walking from the train and then delving into what Dieppe has to offer right on your door step. Colin, thanks so much this was a truely great experience."

"Perfectly located within walking distance of everything we wanted to see in Dieppe, this apartment was ideal for us as a couple.. we jad the suite on the top floor, so there were some very interesting ceiling angles, but they were cleverly worked into the functionality of the space. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was fantastic and the kitchen was well equipped. Colin, the host, was exceptionally friendly and helpful."

"Everything....nothing not to like...super.lovely host...kind...responsive...helpful... Super.clean...amazing french decor...smells glourious when you go in... Very quiet location...we have a top.floor room..no noise from.guests at all...... the seagulls however so loud and plentyful 🤣🤣 would return for sure....we loved it..."
