Quite simply the most friendly, helpful hotel staff I’ve ever come across. The evening reception lady (wish I got her name) went above and beyond more than once for us. "The Annexe is the annexe part to the Hotel Les 5 Freres in Val. The Annexe is more basic and Les 5 Freres more luxurious. Breakfasts, ski room, reception etc all at Les 5 Freres so this was all excellent. Super helpful and friendly staff, large buffet breakfast with extra LARGE coffees, which we loved. The location is super good, right by the beautiful old town of Val d'Isere and a very short walk to the main ski start area."

"Fantastic Gite walking distance to Lac L'homme, which has inflatables, paddle boards etc to hire, a lovely beach and restaurant. The Gite is great value for money, lovely old farm building with a pretty garden. Flexible accomodation. We have 4 children ranging 7 to 17 and it worked perfectly. Lots to see and do close by including a great tree top experience in Rille. Samaur is 40 mins away and is a pretty medieval town on the Loire river. Lots to do here and a great selection of restaurants."
