"This property has fantastic location. Great connectivity to visit key landmarks. The size is perfect for 2 adults but small for 2 adults and 2 kids. Pictures look a lot more premium than the actual layout. The lift stopped working last 2 days of our trip and it was challenging as we had a baby stroller. Overall it’s a great property and we had a good experience."

"We travelled as two families (four adults and three children) and La Stube de Marinette could not have suited us better. Caroline and Jean’s genuine pride in their home shone through, and they were helpful even before our arrival, sharing local tips and offering to book a restaurant as we were due to arrive late. They also left us a basket of fresh bread and croissants on our first morning! The beautifully restored house blends Alsatian charm with modern comforts: spacious bedrooms, a bathroom for each room, a fully equipped kitchen, and thoughtful essentials already stocked. Hippsheim is peaceful yet brilliantly placed for Strasbourg, Colmar, the wine‑route villages, and Europaparc (40 mins). We felt cared for every step of the way. Five stars and highly recommended."

"The best part was that I could stay there just like it was my own home, without being disturbed by anyone. The location was also perfect – the beach, bus stop, e-bike station, and supermarkets were all just steps away. The owner was kind and welcoming as well."

"Unverändert gut so wie schon vor 2 Jahren! Alles bestens, alles da, alles wie beschrieben bzw. wie auf den Fotos gezeigt. Trotz des dazugehörigen Haubenlokals ist die Küche der Gite bestens ausgestattet --- aber man sollte die Gastro gleich ums Eck nutzen und sich kulinarisch verwöhnen lassen! Die Vermieterin ist sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich, stets gut gelaunt und hat ein Herz für Tiere. Großartige Umgebung, ideal für Hunde 🐕 und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten im Umkreis, auch kleine Schlösser kann man noch entdecken, wenn man die großen schon kennt ❤️"

"I can only confirm all the previous positive reviews, everything was perfect! Very comfortable apartment, where you have really everything you need, also small staff like laundry detergent for the wasching machine was available. The sofa bed was very comfortable, WiFi is very good (I worked for a couple of days without any issues) The apartment have enclosed car parking, so your car will be safe during your stay. Very good beach is just 5 munutes away. And on top of this Gérard is the most freandliest and genereous owner I ever met! He left some very tasty local cakes, fresh baguette, local wine, water and other staff as a welcome present. My special thanks him for that!"

"The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed and pillows extremely comfortable, beautiful bed linen and great shower. The property itself is enchanting and set in a nature, each room has a little secluded patio area to relax in the grounds. Full immersed in nature yet conveniently located off the highway. The hosts are extremely accommodating and friendly making the staying even more enjoyable. Great breakfast options. Don’t miss this place!"
