"The staff were friendly, the rooms were basic but big and comfy, exactly what we needed after four days of cycling. We were able to store our bikes securely. The shower was nice. The hotel is quiet and close to the beach. There was a fete during our stay, which was really fun."

"Loved the traditional family-run feel of the hotel. The location was fantastic, just a few hundred metres out the car park and down the road to the sea and nearest beach. The swimming pool was great, and very clean. The family room for 4 was comfortable and quirky with a mezzanine level sleeping area that the kids loved."

Quiet enough in the night time to gove you a serene rest but near to everything you need within 5 mins walk. The best is the host, Sacha. Very helpful and prompt in his response."
"Absolutely superb. The former mill is in an idyllic setting; very peaceful, yet within an easy drive to places of interest. Our room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Fabrice reserved a table for us at a restaurant in Azay called Ripaille, where we enjoyed an excellent dinner. He is a wonderful host and has a great personality. We've booked again for next year. Thoroughly recommended."

"Spacious and comfortable studio apartment in an historic building situated in complete calm. The window gives a great vantage point for observing wildlife in the surrounding countryside. "A lovely little hotel overlooking the River Loire. Moderate sized room, decorated in a nice traditional French style. As this is a Logis de France hotel, we ate in the restaurant which though decorated in a modern style, is comfortable and friendly. Most importantly the food is exceptional!"
