"Great location, very central, an easy walk to the old town and Citadel. A charming hotel, with unique style, decorated in an original and offbeat way. Very welcoming, lovely helpful staff. Charlie helped us with our luggage as there is no lift. Our room with balcony was comfortable and very clean. Good breakfast. Beautiful reading/relaxation room on the ground floor. We really enjoyed staying here and would do so again."

"Great location by the slipway to the ferry over to St Malo. Although we weren't able to park outside the hotel there was a pay car park very near. We had a lovely, friendly welcome from the lady on reception. There is a bedroom with bathroom properly equipped for disabled people and a lift. The restaurant has attractive decor. It filled up fast with locals and had a good buzz. The food was excellent."
