"Everything! An ancient building with a rich history, well appointed rooms, and an enclosed yard. Bucolic environment. The breakfast is really good, and the pain au chocolat is to die for. Elise is a great host, she has been very communicative throughout our stay and even booked a top restaurant nearby. We got the last table. I can only recommend you to stay here if you are visiting Chantilly. You will not regret it."

"We stayed in the cottage which is 2 beds with a bathroom, kitchen and sitting room. With this you don’t get the breakfast but you are allowed access to the pool room through the most amazing hidden door! The beds and bedding were very high quality and we slept very well. Shower is great. The pictures on booking.com don’t seem to be of the cottage and it is not as grand as staying in the main house but still very nice. The village is very quiet, no shops and the access to Parc Asterix was good."

"The only downside was that it smelt of dogs but that’s not the owners fault as they accept animals I guess the people before must have had dogs with them."

"This was our second visit - and we hope to return (and stay for longer!). It continues to be an exceptional experience. Elise is magnificent - excellent communication and very welcoming. The breakfast is superb - and there are so many thoughtful touches everywhere. The location is perfect - rural but very close to Senlis. Chantilly and Compiegne/Pierrefonds are also quite close by. We slept very well; the rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. Everything is well thought out and considered. The wifi is included and worked perfectly for us. We don't want too many people to discover this amazing place as we want to keep it our secret! If you book you won't regret it. It is one of those rare places that continues to impress and delivers long-term, consistent, quality."

"Everything! A wonderfully comfortable bed in a large tastefully designed bedroom, with a spacious bathroom that had plenty of hot water with good pressure. This family-run property would make an ideal base for exploring by car an interesting, and often overlooked, part of France. Overall this was one of the best properties we stayed at during our holidays. We chose Maison Prieuré for the last night stay of a six-week road trip in France due to its proximity to the airport. Being early October we were the only guests. We’d definitely book to stay here again, and for longer next time. :)"
