"This renovated farm house is near the end of a farm lane in a quiet area. The interior has been completely updated with very nice appliances and amenities. The bathroom and shower are very modern and spacious. The house is situated in the small hamlet of La Pierre and is adjacent to working farms. So it is not a commercial touristic area. The living area is on the upper floor which gives nice views of the hills and mountains nearby. The living area was very clean and the grounds were manicured and beautiful. A small portion of the farm house is used by the owner. The farm lanes are pleasant for walking. The clothes washing machine AND dryer were helpful. This was a rare property that provided a top sheet under the duvet, which is more comfortable. The boulangerie and TABAC/epicerie in Chauffayer (about 1 mile away) provide the grocery essentials."

"The water pressure and temperature fluctuated, especially in the shower. It acted like there were air pockets in the pipes sometimes. Maybe that is the nature of the water supply in that area or maybe it can be remedied. The floor has two changes in height. These are several inches high. If you remember them they are no problem. There are stairs to get up to the living area, which I didn't mind, but you should be aware they are there in case that would be an issue for you."

"Fantastisch groot familie appartement op de 1e verdieping. Alles groot, schoon, netjes en luxe. De ‘boer’ en zijn vrouw wonen beneden en zijn de aardigste mensen ooit! Absolute aanrader in een klein dorpje op een half uur van een mooi azuur meer, een grote supermarkt en prachtige bergtoppen."

"De gîte is op de bovenverdieping (fikse trap!) van een prachtig eeuwenoud huis. Het was er koel, tijdens erg warme dagen. De keuken is goed uitgerust, de bedden liggen prima, de grote eettafel is gezellig. Het uitzicht is schitterend op elk moment van de dag. De tuin is enorm, er is altijd een schaduwplekje en het is er heerlijk stil. We werden uiterst hartelijk welkom geheten door de moeder en de zoon van de eigenaar, die zelf via mail ook goed bereikbaar was. De locatie is prima, langs de Route Napoléon. Prachtige motortochten gemaakt, en de motor kon in de schuur staan, ook fijn."
