"Nice little studio attached to the owners house. Well appointed but cupboards a bit high up for us short people. Short drive to supermarket and petrol station. Blaye itself is a lovely old town dominated by a huge citadel well worth visiting. Blaye is in the middle of Bordeaux wine country and there is an excellent shop in the heart of Blaye selling wine from the local producers."

"Very welcoming host who went over & above requirements to make us comfortable. Able to self cater for meals. Host assisted with booking taxis etc but none were available. A friendly neighbour gave a lift in his car when we were leaving so we didn’t have to pull our luggage around."
"The setting is amazing. As a photographer the chance to walk around the grounds and see wild boar, deer and Ragondin (large semi-aquatic rodent similar to an otter) is a major plus. Also, as a cyclist, cycle route 45 is right outside the drive so there is plenty of off road/quiet road cycling to be done right outside the door."
