"The location is exceptional and the sea view was beautiful. I had originally booked 4 nights and then extended another 4 as I loved it. The bed and bedding was really comfortable, crisp and clean. The staff I spoke with on the phone and housekeepers I met were really polite and helpful, even when I had to call about the door as i left my brain behind. I will be coming back on another visit."

"There is no reception which I was worried about, but the family actually live there, I felt really safe."

"A beautiful view from the room I had with balcony on Regency Square, the I360 and sea view but at the same time a little bit frightening on Monday morning when it was raining and the waves on the sea were very high. Also, have to mention very good conditions for a building from 19th Century. Thank you."

"No reception and the stairs to the first floor; however I was very happy with my stay. I will definitely book again in the future."

"Although a bit dated and displaying quite a bit of wear and tear, the room was very clean. Sufficient toiletries, toilet paper, tea bags etc were provided for the length of stay. Adjustable room thermostat. Bed linen was good quality. Landlord very kindly carried my heavy case full of conference materials to the third floor. Sea view was great. The lock system was good, felt secure. Brilliant location, close to seafront, Brighton Centre and lots of restaurants and grocery shops."

"Something to wash cups and glasses would be good, also a desk light and mini fridge."

"Bed was super comfy and we didn’t hear much noise from others, had a nice view. Got late checkout for free which was really lovely and well needed"

"The bathroom needs an upgrade as the door doesn’t shut properly or lock and the paint is chipping. The tv is very old so didn’t have a lot we could watch."

"The bed was exquisite! The room had a fridge. The place is shabby chic but so am I so it was a perfect combination."

"Lovely staff, helpful and understanding! Antique style room, as expected, with location. Easy check out. Central to all needed attractions, left to our own devices. Recommended parking behind, 'private garage' behind! (Much cheaper) Comfy bed, dodgy TV remote haha, but overall fantastic stay, would highly recommend."

"Perfect location and great value for money. If you want to experience Brighton this is the place. Right on the seafront and next to a vast variety of shops and restaurants. The seafront view from my window was fantastic. Will definitely stay here again."

"A minor complaint was the bed wasn't very comfy but I got used to it quickly enough. Also there's no lift so no great if you don't like stairs but other than that it was perfect."
