See kena pereettevõttena tegutsev puhkemaja loodud mugavalt ajaloolise mereäärse Maleme küla serval ning on hea näide traditsioonilisest Kreeka arhitektuurist. Summer Lodge loodud kauni lilledega täidetud sisehoovi ja apelsinisalu ümber ning pakub hästi sisustatud ja meeldivalt sisustatud tube. Enamikul tubadel on privaatne rõdu või avatud terrass. Esimesel korrusel asuvatel aiavaatega tubadel on terrass ja suvel on eriti jahedad avarad toad. Hommikuti serveeritakse kontinentaalset hommikusööki. Meil on suur eelis, et Maleme pikk ja vaikse asukohaga rand on umbes 400 meetri kaugusel. Peamiselt liivane, kuid ka kivikliburand. Plataniase kesklinn on vaid 5 km ja Hania linn 16 km kaugusel. Butiikhotell on loodud koht veespordi harrastamiseks, rahulike jalutuskäikude tegemiseks maapiirkonnas või huvitavate külastamiseks arheoloogiliste ja ajalooliste paikade juurde.

"Although a 30-40 minute bus ride from Chania town, Summer Lodge is a Fantastic place if you want to be away from the busy places. A peaceful and pretty hotel with a Lovely vibe...There are places nearby to get food and drink and the mostly deserted beach is just a few minutes walk away. The bus stops are close by also - So nothing was ever too much effort. The owners of the property were kind, chatty and helpful. And last but not least the two cats at the hotel were a Joy to be around !! If I get the chance to go back to Chania I would definitely stay at this hotel again !9"
"Being near the main road, although handy can be a bit noisy at times but it never bothered me too much. The individual refrigerator in the room was very noisy and I did wake up to it a couple of times."
"We particularly like this type of accommodation. Athena was very nice. We talked a lot and he recommended shops, restaurants and programs. He was always smiling. The room is clean and tidy, the garden is wonderful. Eating breakfast in the summer kitchen was a perfect start to the day."

"Tutto perfetto. Struttura bellissima e confortevole sotto tutti i punti di vista. C'è anche il mare da raggiungere a piedi con 600 metri. La piscina è pulitissima e confortevole. I proprietari Vassilis e Athina gentilissimi e cordiali. Lo consiglio vivamente."

Μας πήρε τηλ να μας καθοδηγήσει,έφερνε ξύλα για το τζάκι κάθε απόγευμα,ευγενικότατη,τα είχε ολα στην εντέλεια,πρωινό με φρυγανιές,καφέ,τσαι,μελι,και καλοσώρισμα.Ακόμα κ όταν ζητσαμε κάτι που είχαμε ξεχάσει να κραταμε μαζί μας (Ένα καλώδιο σύνδεσης ) Προσφέρθηκε άμεσα και μας βρήκε,και ειδικά εορταστικές μέρες που όλα ήταν κλειστά στην πόλη."

"Very nice modern apartment with all the amenities including air conditioning and washing machine, which was very helpful. It is located in about 100 meters from the beach in a small town of Vonitsa. It is not far from Lefkada, about 20 minutes by car. The host is very nice and even left some snacks for our breakfast on the first day. The bakery is next door, which is also very helpful."

"We stayed here with our big family (5 people in one room and 2 in another) for the second time. This is the only hotel not far from the airport where you can stay together in one room as a large family. The staff are very pleasant, and the value for money is perfect. Everything was clean, quiet, and comfortable. There is a large balcony, a stove to cook meals, and parking right in front of the hotel or along the street (just a meter away – we could see our car from the balcony). I highly recommend this hotel if you arrive late or leave Athens early."

"amazing view over the harbour, the staff were extremely friendly. we have been island hopping for 3 weeks and the owners of this apartment were one of the kindest and most welcoming we have met. they paid for our drinks when we ended up in the same restaurant for lunch one day. our room was cleaned every day compared to the usual once every two days. location is very close to the port but there is a steep hill to walk up. close to a lot of quality restaurants/bus stop and bakery"
