"Cozy little town, quiet and pitoresk. Gasthaus Emmi is located central in the town, but still has a beautiful location with an open field behind. Great garden with swimmingpool, playground for kids, rabbits and hens. Breakfast very good, local products and fresh eggs. Clean rooms."

Not new interior, but original, well taken care of and clean.

"The personal attention of the wonderful owner stood out for us. He went out of his way to collect us from the ferry and take us to the airport the next day. He provided us with a fabulous breakfast too - the best we’ve had over our whole trip. We loved meeting him and talking to him."

Wifi was a bit slow, but not a big problem.

Meri sealsamas ja rahulikum rannaosa, kus ruumi jagub piisavalt ka neile, kellele seda rohkem vaja. Samas keskus pole üldse kaugel, kui mändide all ja mere ääres jalutada meeldib ja otsetee selgeks saab. Sõbralikult omanikult saab jalgrattaid laenutada, bussiga Võsule minnes pakub ta ka transporti bussijaama ja majutuse vahel, mis oli väga meeldiv üllatus."

Pigem redeliks kvalifitseeruv trepp - ainus põhjus, miks võib juhtuda, et taas Võsule minnes teisi majutusi vaatan, kuna liigesed ei taha hästi ronida.

Meil oli tuba ilma rõduta, kuid oli olemas ühiseks kasutamiseks rõdud. Automaadist joogivee kättesaadavus 24/7. Toas olemas -külmik, mikrolaineahi, triikraud ja triikimise laud. Suurepärased self check-in võimalused. Nägime võimalust pääseda ka ratastooliga ligi."

Natuke kostus majasisest heli läbi ja harjumatu oli tihedam kirikukellade heli.

"Great location 3 minutes walk from the main square, a beautiful cave room and a hotel with a character. Stunning views from the restaurant, very helpful and professional receptionist (Fifi). Breakfast with a wide choice of food."

Essayer de voir avec Google Map la problématique de la direction GPS qui n'est pas la bonne... Merci à l'hôte qui, devant mon désespoir, est venu à ma rencontre ! Cette remarque ne remet nullement en cause la qualité de l'hébergement.

"Rooms are spread over several terraces with lots of flowers. We were on the top and had a great view. Being at elevation, it's nice and cool at night. No fans needed. Great new showers with good hot water. They have a pump system through which there is still water when the power is out. A generator is turned on if there is a power cut in the morning or evening. The restaurant is very good. During lunch it is particularly well visited. For breakfast and dinner it's primarily hotel guests. Great breakfast with lots of fruits and good bread. Dinner was a daily changing dish by a daily rotating local chef. Large parking lot. Nearby attractions are Monte Café and Cascata de São Nicolau."

We arrived right on the day of a big storm which primarily hit the highlands. For the next few days CST, the telephone company, was everywhere fixing lines. There was no wifi for the whole two days we were at the hotel. It is possible that this was a consequence of the storm. We made it work with mobile data. The hotel sells credits if you have a CST Sim card.

The only drawback was the heater kept switching off & I had to get the staff to turn it on a few times
