"First of all, the Lodge is absolutely beautiful. We loved the architecture and attention to detail in every corner. The service was excellent, and the staff were very warm and welcoming, especially Allan who made us feel truly cared for. "I had a great stay at Tulip Hotel. Room 105 was cozy, clean, spacious, and bright. The bed was large and very comfortable, the room was very clean and nice , and everything felt well maintained. I also really liked the stylish and cozy bar area. The interior design is beautiful and thoughtfully done. You can clearly see the creative ideas behind the concept, all focused on making guests feel comfortable. The team work of the staff is impressive. Service is smooth and professional. The food is delicious, breakfasts and lunch were excellent. The spa area is another highlight, especially the hammam and the pool with refreshing ice cold water.Wonderful! Overall, a very comfortable and welcoming hotel that fully deserves a high rating. I would definitely stay here again."

The only downside is the soundproofing. You can hear what is happening in the hallway, especially when guests check in or out or use the shower nearby. The room 105 could benefit from better noise insulation.

The AC and the Fridge in our room were not working but immediately we reported, they were fixed.

Clean and tidy and a great swimming pool , great food and cold beer.

"Clean hotel in the city center, next to a mini market. Warm room without many amenities but quite spacious bathroom. On the plus side, parking in a public area under the hotel.The view of the restaurant was amazing."

There is not a direct access of the parking to the hotel. The breakfast was poor as there was no hot dishes (scrambled eggs i.e.) and there was the only option of black coffee even the restaurant was servings other coffees the rest of the day.

"The hotel is in a very central location, meaning that you can easily navigate by foot or by taxi to many of the malls that you are close by. The breakfast is amazing and sufficiently varied to satisfy most palates."

"I was able to book a room just before midnight of the same night (in the app it says 24 hours front desk). When I arrived, the doors were closed. I was able to call and they were able to open the doors after I woke them up and accommodated me but it's quite a surprise if it says 24 hours front desk and then it actually isn't..."

"The breakfast buffet was good quality if a little expensive, make sure you book day before to get a discount."

The bacon and sausages at breakfast were not the best but this is usual for Korea. Westerners might notice this, Koreans won't mind them at all.

The food in the restaurant is ok but not the best and the waiters are slow. The breakfast is very poor and it is better to eat outside at 100% Natural. The reception did no tell us about the yoga which we missed. Also that did not tell us that we should book the whale trip in advance because now it was sold out and we had to book a private trip.

That the restaurant isn't closed and no one helped me with my huge case to my room ( iwas on my own and kinda just pointed in the right direction even though I had three bags.

"I want to talk about only one topic regarding my hotel stay. I want to talk about the towels in the bathroom. The towels are very large, very white, and very thick. They wrap the body with so much love. Yes, true love. It's a real home."

No hot shower, which was inconvenient. Noisy installations that affected comfort (water pump, no well isolated for insects) The check-in process was a bit complicated, but since it's a family-run business, we were understanding.

this could be improved: -the beach has a lot of potential, buiding a nice peer with stairs for a sea swim would make it much better -there isnt enough shade in the garden and the sun is punishing -the trees on the beach have fruits that hurt when falling, as part of garden maintenance they should be shuffled to drop the fruits upfront -the restaurant options both for breakfast, meals and snacks, leaves out a lot of the good things of Sao Tome. Look at your competitor Riu, for instance, they always have a section with local treats

The hotel has a serious issue with plumbing. Didn't get hot water for quite a long time in teh shower and had to wait long, while the hot water was yelowish.

The weakest part of the hotel is the restaurant catering for breakfasts and all meals: the place that looks like a canteen, is not welcoming. The prices for food are for too expensive. The food is good quality. Spiritless Hotel as it feels very empty.
