Puhkemaja kinnitunud Galway raudteejaamast 18 km ja Galway Greyhoundi staadionist 20 km kaugusel. Mittesuitsetajatele mõeldud majutusasutus asetseb Spiddal Pier rannast 2,8 km kaugusel. "Fab location with great views from the garden and a really spacious and comfortable house which is extremely well equipped! We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend it to others. We were a party of 6 adults and it was home from home! The bus service at the bottom of the road was easy and reasonably priced."

"This property is like a home away from home. It is so comfortable, has everything you need and really allows you to relax as it is the perfect house for it! The beds were so comfortable, the couches were amazing and the facilities were top class! You are only a 2 minute drive from Spiddal and a short pleasant coastal drive to Galway city. I can’t speak highly enough about the Uplands"

"Es ist ein sehr großzügig gebautes und gestaltetes Haus, das für 6 Personen plus Kleinkind sehr viel Platz bereit hält. Durch die 3 Badezimmer kommt man sich morgens nicht in die quere und jeder hat seinen eigenen Bereich. Die Küche ist ebenfalls sehr geräumig und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für seine Selbstversorgung braucht. Außerdem Esszimmer mit Blick auf den Atlantik und ein Wohnzimmer mit Kamin und gemütlichen Relaxsesseln. Besser geht's nicht!"
"Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb und man geht ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß nach Spiddal, wo man dann alles für seinen täglichen Bedarf findet, sowie Restaurationen und einen kleinen Hafen. Die Duschtechnik ist irisch/englisch entsprechend gewöhnungsbedürftig, funktioniert aber wenn man sich erst einmal dran gewöhnt hat. Die Schaltung der Heizung-/Warmwasseranlage erschien etwas kompliziert, funktionierte aber letztendlich einwandfrei."

"I didn’t like that we repeatedly got notices from Connemara Booking that we had not paid though we had done so weeks before. It must be some sort of a form letter, but every time I received it it felt like I was being scammed."
"Everything. It was a bright, spacious and quiet retreat from city life, yet not far from Galway city. The house was furnished and equipped to a high standard and was spotless. We especially liked the conservatory dining area with views of Galway bay. Siobhan was great to deal with and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were just a couple, but the house could easily accommodate a family or up to 3 couples traveling together. Highly recommend the Uplands."
