"Beautiful old style property with lovely lawns. Our room was comfortable, aesthetic and had good lighting which pleased us, evening readers. The staff were very polite and accommodating. It was always a pleasure to come back to the serene ambiance of the Trident after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was abundant and varied and the staff super attentive and friendly."

"I have stayed at this property multiple times and have rated them as excellent every time. Unfortunately, the last couple of times the attitude of the reception staff leaves a lot to be desired! They behave like immigration officials at airports with robotic questions and answers, with zero warmth! This is really unfortunate, as the reception brings down the experience, which the other staff work really hard to build. The restaurant, in room dining and housekeeping is exceptional. This time Shamita from housekeeping was a perfect gem! I believe the staff at reception needs much better training and there has to be more senior staff who can take quicker and smarter decisions for individual customers and respond to their needs. The behaviour of the lady at the reception at the time of checking out, was like she was doing me a favor for having come to the hotel!"
