"The hotel was stunning! Set in the jungle and in beautiful wooden cabins, it feels like low-key luxury. The restaurant was lovely, it’s quite popular on the island but the staff make sure hotel guests get good tables and are catered for. It’s very very quiet, so if you are looking for relaxation it’s perfect. The grounds are beautifully curated, it feels like you are staying in a botanical garden. The general manager was a gem, he sorted out a small issue with our room very quickly and was so hospitable for the rest of our stay, he couldn’t do enough to help. Can’t wait to go back one day!"

Some people would take issue not having AC, but it’s definitely cool enough and there is no reason to have them.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is absolutely delicious. You can truly feel the history of this place, which makes the stay even more special. "The apartment is spotless and incredibly well-kept. The bedroom and bathroom are huge—honestly, it’s one of the most spacious bathrooms I’ve ever seen, and the hydromassage tub was a fantastic bonus! It would be perfect for families . The host is absolutely amazing; he went above and beyond by storing our luggage and even driving us to the city center. He was so helpful with everything."

"If you're visiting Malta this is an excellent place to stay. Sliema itself is a bustling harbour town with plenty bars, cafes, shops within ten minutes walk of hotel. Also within ten minutes walk is the harbour where you can book boat trips to Gozo and blue lagoon, and get a ferry to Valetta which takes ten minutes in itself (or around 8 euros in a Bolt) if you book a boat trip through Viator make sure this pickup point in Sliema is your closest one on Google maps. It'll be much more convenient. Facilities basic but clean and comfortable. Free bottled water at reception and coffee machine at reception. Some toilets aren't in the bedrooms but are very close and robes etc are provided. Would recommend."

Only thing is the busy road lots of noisy bikes so take some silicone ear plugs for at night if you're a sensitive sleeper. Although I slept okay most nights, and this will affect most hotels in the area.

"Large, clean and modern room with a hairdryer and enough plugs. Parking available. Nice breakfast with home-made yogurt and jams. Internet was satisfactory. The dinner at a (somewhat high) price of 30 Euro per person was good. Good service overall. The owner, Mr. Desprairies, is very professional."

Though we did like the breakfast, we saw that eggs are offered for an extra charge. In most hotels this is standard, so I would recommend to just include them in breakfast. Also, the coffee was so so.
