The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is absolutely delicious. You can truly feel the history of this place, which makes the stay even more special. "The place is simply wonderful: in an amazing location, away from all the noise on Flores island, but only a 3-minute boat ride away from there. The rooms are clean, spatious and charming. As for the staff, they will do anything possible to make your stay pleasant. And then of course there is Erick, the man who will organize everything for you, from the amenities of your room to your excursions to the ruins. Zapote Tree Inn immensely exceeded my expectations."

"Praktiliselt praami sadama vastas kuid samas privaatne hoov. Väga armas ajatruu interjöör. Lahked teenindajad. Saime isegi päevi hiljem , naastes Zansibarilt ja ootades praami, oma kohvrid sinna hoiule jätta. Saime praamieelse aja veeta basseini ääres ja isegi uue wifi parooli andsid meile kuigi me ju enam ei ööbinud seal. Ilus, hubane ja sõbralik õhkkond"

Randa ujumiseks pole üldse lähipiirkonnas. On sadam ja kohalikud paadimehed seal vahel sulistavad paatideni aga nö päris ujumise kohta pole kuskil kuhu saaks jala minna. Kui väga vette tahad siis saad paatide vahel ära ujuda. Ja voodi oli väga lühikestele inimestele. Mu mees on 182cm pikk ja ta pidi risti magama.

As I enter the room, there is a strong smell of smoke. They need to ensure that the room is properly ventilated so that the smoke odour doesn't linger. Additionally, they don't provide soap or shampoo in the bathroom. It can also be quite exhausting to stay in a hotel with steep stairs and no elevator.

House keeping could be better. In 6 days stay we got only one cleaning, so we lived with full bins of trash, ashtrays etc all the time. The bbq zone was pretty much occupied with the events, wich ruined our plans to grill the time we wanted.

You cannot walk to the beach. Taxis are expensive.

The hotel is next to the freeway, so avoid rooms close to front due to constant traffic noise.

"Large, clean and modern room with a hairdryer and enough plugs. Parking available. Nice breakfast with home-made yogurt and jams. Internet was satisfactory. The dinner at a (somewhat high) price of 30 Euro per person was good. Good service overall. The owner, Mr. Desprairies, is very professional."

Though we did like the breakfast, we saw that eggs are offered for an extra charge. In most hotels this is standard, so I would recommend to just include them in breakfast. Also, the coffee was so so.

As in a lot of places the wifi sometimes doesn't work but that is not specifically for this place though. I blame Africell 😊

"The service and food were fine. Room was spacious and clean. Beautiful and peaceful location. The kitchen catered for our specific preferences as my husband and son do not eat meat and chicken and my daughter doesn't eat octopus."

No shampoo available and i wasnt aware of same before booking else would have brought mine. Towels stayed wet and had to use same both for shower and pool. Amenities should be provided to allow for wet clothes and towels to dry, like a drying line in the bathroom.
