The Hotel Traube is located right in the historic center of Brixen, just a few steps from the Diocesan Museum Hofburg Brixen and the old town. "The room and bathroom were comfortable and spacious. The hotel is an easy walk from the centre and sights of Brixen. The garden and pool are beautiful but unfortunately we weren't able to swim because the weather was showery and cool."
"The breakfast room was rather too cramped when full with particularly heavy, unsuitable chairs with large arms which were difficult to get in and out of. Our room overlooked the road and we were woken by children and parents going to school early each morning. The Reception lady leaves for the night at 9pm, which we weren't aware of when the drive through the Brenner Pass in the rain took longer than expected. I now realise I should have made her aware, but when I've done this at other hotels, they have told me not to bother."

Plenty of glutenfree options too. The garden is absolutely wonderful."
"Not a problem per-se, but something to note for travellers looking for quiet and relaxation: the hotel seems to attract a lot of families with younger children. So, while the garden/ pool look idyllic on the pictures, they can get quite busy."
