Turtle Lamp paikneb Unawatunas, 1,2 km kaugusel Jaapani rahupagoodist ja 5-minutilise autosõidu kaugusel Unawatuna rannast. "The hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming. We stayed here for three nights, and every morning we were served a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. They made an effort to offer something different each day, so we were able to try a variety of local dishes already at breakfast. Unfortunately, on our last day we suffered from sunstroke, and the host was incredibly understanding and flexible. They kindly allowed us to stay for a few extra hours beyond check-out so we could recover a bit, for which we are truly grateful."

"We were kindly greated by our nice host with a welcome drink on our huge private terrace. The room is clean and really big with a big fridge, small kitchen, washing machine and A/C. The A/C was working, but the room is very big so it did not cool down as fast as we were used to from other guest houses. It still worked fine and it was never too hot. For the first time on our journey the host provided us with extra beach towels, not only towels for the room. The breakfast was good and the cute Rottweiler keeping us company was a great extra. We were quite stressed when we left, and the host gave us 2 bottles of water for free because he thought we looked too exhausted. The location is central between different beaches, but to get to them you should take a tuktuk. Walking, it may take you from 30minutes to one hour to get there."
