"Location near Riga, the sauna and hot tub. The cute little house. Thoughtfulness of the hosts by putting all that is needed for bbq, ice in the freezer, bathrobes and towels in different colours for each guest. Cleanliness."

"It was way too warm in the room during the night, but i could not figure out how the temperature control worked. Hadnt it been so late in the night id have asked the hosts. Otherwise all was wonderful."

"The attention to detail was exquisite--from the "No Pipe Smoking" signs to the great wheel windows, runic plates and cups and heavy wooden door to the ring cast in resin on the countertop! A delight around every corner! The hosts were very kind, attentive and easy to communicate with."

"In late July, there can be quite a number of bugs swarming, but the hosts did provide bug sprays which helped!"

"Stunning experience. Everything we required was there, and with a cool twist from dishes, to mood lighting, sheep was passing by at one point with the front door open while we were enjoying our dinner. Sauna was perfect and hot tub under the stars without light pollution. Fantastic. It is one of the best places I have chosen to escape city life. The owner showed everything and was super friendly. YOU MUST EXPERIENCE it with a dinner and of course Lord Of the Rings on TV :) We will book it again sometime."

"We like loved the location (very dreamy, in the middle of forest), coziness, attention to details (from homemade tea, jam to small details representing Hobbit and Lord of The Rings) and extras such as sauna and jacuzzi. Very unique and magical place that my husband and I highly recommend!"

"Amazing, peaceful place at any time of the year!!! In the picture, the house, rooms, and dining area look much smaller than in reality. It is definitely enough space for 6 persons. We enjoyed the decorations, especially the kitchenware, which is made in the style of Latvian folklore. The beds are comfy. If you include the hot jacuzzi and sauna in your stay, you will have planty towels, robes, and slippers provided by the owner. The barbecues area included everything that you need. In total, I would say this hobbit house has everything that you need, as you would come at your own house! Thanks to the owner, cleanness, handmade decor. Feels like in the museum."

"My older kids are avid Lord of the Rings fans, so finding this gem so close to home was wonderful. We loved all the book-themed decor and the attention to detail. The house and its surroundings are charming, and we were all enthralled with it. So much so that our youngest didn't want to leave and is asking when we can visit the Hobbit House again :) Thanks for sharing your amazing house and all the little details that make it bring the book and story to life. Well done! So glad to see something in Latvia that is out of the ordinary style! We enjoyed the sauna as well!"

"We were surprised to find some ants around this time of year. They didn't bother us, but there were some in the sauna and in the kitchen."

"Нам всё очень понравилось, домик сделан со вкусом. Каждая деталь продумана. На кухне есть всё необходимое для приготовления еды. Кровати не очень широкие, но удобные, легко может разместиться 6 человек. Связь с хозяином отличная. Для похода в баню всё предоставлено — полотенца, халаты, тапочки."
