Hotel Hacienda Mérida

"We had booked a standard room because we stayed only for 1 night. So, the room is just nice in size for 2 persons, if you only have a cabin bag. The best thing about this hotel is its central location and also, a free parking nearby. You have to park your car outside the hotel to unload and check-in, before the staff show you where to park your car. It will be at a secured parking nearby. The property, on the whole, is very beautifully built. We love the decor, and we love Merida!!"

"This was a beautiful building and was very well decorated. The room was equipped with everything you could need and the location was perfect! The hotel also has 3 swimming pools with plenty of space to relax."

"It was lovely, so not much to complain about. As it is an old building you do hear some outside noise but it is still quiet at night."

"Breakfast is a little disappointing, very few options, it’s not included and croissants had apparently been deep frozen and reheated. Lots of wasps swarming around, as fruit preserves etc. sit around outside for a while before tables are being cleaned."

"The property is very historic. Very beautifully constructed in a Spanish colonial style. There are 3 swimming pools, and at night, the hacienda has a very mystical atmosphere. A real treasure of a hotel."

"We had a great room on the ground floor with a pool right outside the terrace. Very close to town and staff was lovely."

"The shower was leaking from the first floor to our shower tray in the morning at 6am which woke us up but otherwise nothing else."

"Seriously film-like lovely hotel to stay in Mérida. Such elegant and exquisite design full of tranquil notes, focused on proving best space for rest. Rooms were great: I loved the bed, personally. Breakfast options are simple but great quality. All of the staff were super helpful! The place is 10 minutes walk from the centre. Non-street, secure parking in such a central location was a big plus."

"Beautiful hotel - the pictures don’t do it justice. Mérida is an interesting town. Cathedral square is lovely and we really liked Wine and Tapas bar nearby to hotel."

"Driving into Mérida takes a while. We would have benefitted from more advice on nice restaurants nearby. There’s quite a lot of traffic in the centre."

"Fantastic authentic hotel. The pools were sooo good after a day at Chitsen Itsa. The staff were so lovely especially the proprietor. Our aircon leaked in our room and we were quickly moved to an upgraded room. Breakfast was great."
