"Väga rahulikus kohas. Toad olid puhtad ja ilusad. Hommikusöögiks puuviljad, jogurt ning igal hommikul sai valida munade või kindla kohaliku hommikusöögi vahel. Joogivesi oli tasuta suurtes kannudes alati saadaval. Läheduses (250m-300m) kaks ilusat söögikohta, mis olid terve päeva avatud."

"The hotel is wonderfully quiet — we really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. It’s a perfect place to slow down. Direct access to the lagoon is a big plus. We spent beautiful hours there reading, exercising, swimming, and just enjoying the view. The territory itself is lush and very green, which makes the whole experience even more relaxing. There are also some nice touches on the property: hammocks, a palapa with chess, kayaks, and a jetty. We stayed for three nights, and overall it felt like enough to keep us happily occupied."

"Breakfast could be a bit more diverse — a wider variety would make the stay even better One thing that felt a bit unusual was having to return the AC remote at checkout. It seems like many guests are surprised by this and have to walk back to their cabins to get it. It’s not a big issue, but it does feel slightly inconvenient and unnecessary"

"By far the best accommodation of our trip to Mexico, the rooms are independent cottages surrounded by nature in the park. Rich and abundant breakfast, friendly staff."

"We were not warned that dinner would not be available one evening. The shower room is secure but open, so taking a shower in the morning is not ideal due to the cold."

"Peaceful location and helpful staff. Beautiful gardens and very comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast included. Lovely to have a hammock on our patio. I would recommend a sunrise kayak tour. Erik was an interesting and informative guide. We would love to have stayed longer."

"Ecotucan was our favourite stay by far during our trip to Mexico. The property is absolutely stunning; if you love birds and nature then this is the place to stay. Two top tips: 1. Wake up for sunrise, go down to the lake and admire the view (and birds) 2. Book a kayak tour with Active Nature who operate from there. The villas themselves are beautiful - spacious, modern and they have A/C now. The restaurant is also great but town is also a 15 minute drive. Breakfast is divine. And a big shout out to Arturo who is the kindest host and made us feel so welcome."

"Really beautiful cabin, nicely designed and practical and lovely premises, great jungle garden. Very helpful and friendly staff. Amazing shower, lovely design and functionality. Good, personalised breakfast."

"Two really minor points. Firstly, the lack of black tea! although the staff did get us a flask of hot water to make our own a few times. Also, could do with a more comfortable chair in the cabin."
