Peatumiskoht De Doelen kinnitunud ainulaadses paigas Hollandi ühe kauneima kanali Rapenburgi ääres. Butiikhotellihoone on vanaaegne aadlimõis, mis ehitati 1638. aastal. It's a three-star hotel, like most of the hotels in the old town. If you want luxury and good facilities, probably best to go for a modern four-star but these are perhaps in the modern part of town."

"The manager was exceptional, we only stayed for one night, but he was very helpful as we travelled on bicycles, and there were eleven of us. Our room was clean and roomy, although a bit worn-looking. There was a large separate bathroom with a separate shower and bath. Breakfast was cheap and plentiful and served promptly."
