Hovdestøylen paiknev Hovdeni suusakeskusest ja veepargist 5-minutilise autosõidu kaugusel. Külalisi ootavad hubased pesad ja toiduvalmistamise võimalusega apartemendid, kus on tasuta WiFi-ühendus, lameekraaniga televiisor ja diivanid. Võõrastemajai Hovdestøylen tubades on nüüdisaegne sisekujundus, kaabeltelevisioon ja privaatne vannituba. Kõikidel apartementidel on rõdu ja köök koos nõudepesumasina ja kõige muu vajalikuga. "Nice and spacious room with fantastic views of the forest and mountains (even if it was raining when we came). The tranquil sound of the river almost just behind the window. Very helpful receptionists. Fantastic breakfast buffet with nothing missing. The lobby was nicely and comfortably furnished. Last but not least: outdoor jacuzzi and sauna (additional payment required) which we thoroughly enjoyed! Shame we stayed only one night..."

"The hotel is set just back from the main road and very near the centre of the town. It is a built in the traditional chalet-style and beautifully furnished throughout. Our very well appointed room had a view onto woodland and the distant mountains. We decided to eat in and it was a truly fine meal. We both had an excellent fish soup, followed by trout and ribs from which the bone part of the ribs had been skilfully excised. For dessert, we both had the rhubarb and white chocolate parfait. All this was served at a window table that overlooked a broad, but swift-flowing river, backed by deciduous woodland that morphed into forest with a background of the inevitable snow tipped peaks of the mountains. It was not a cheap meal, but it was not horribly expensive either, particularly if you consider the ambience and the surroundings. The breakfast was very good, too."

"We liked everything - apartment was big, clean, with a big table, a lot of beds, 2 balconies, 2 bathrooms with showers, a dishwasher and a kitchen. We could use washing and drying mashines for free. The hotel lobby was nice and we could rent shuffleboard game for some money. There is a big river, mountain and lake very close to the hotel"
