Päikeseterrassiga Waitaki Braids peitub Kurow's. Hunter on 48 km kaugusel. Kõikides majutusruumides on istumisnurk. Igas majutusruumis on privaatne fööniga vannituba. Ümbruskonnas on populaarseteks tegevusteks suusatamine ja golfimäng ning kohapealt saab jalgrattaid rentida. Vaba aega saab sisustada mitmesuguste tegevustega, näiteks ratsutamise, rattasõidu ja kalapüügiga. Omarama on majutusasutusest Waitaki Braids 48 km kaugusel. Waitaki Braids rajatud Kurow' linna kesklinnas, Oamarust 65 km ja Omaramast 55 km kaugusel. Puhkemajakeses on 7 tuba, millest 6 on ülisuure kaheinimesevoodiga (super king-size). Viis tuba on kahe üheinimesevoodiga. Igal toal on privaatne talveaed ja privaatne vannituba ning väliterrass, kus saab istuda. Puhkemajakeses pakutakse rikkalikku hommikusööki, mille tunnusroog on "Posh Porridge". Kohvik on avatud kella 10.00-14.00 ning seal saate nautida erinevaid toite alates Jaapani salatitest kuni Croque Monsuieri ja NZ lemmikuteni hiiglaslikust juusturahast. Jalgratturitele pakutakse söögipakke lõunaks. Õhtusöök on kolmekäiguline. Esimene on suupiste saabumisel, millele järgneb kaks kohalikest toodetest valmistatud rooga. Võimalik on üürida jalgrattaid ning läheduses on palju teisi sportimisvõimalusi, sealhulgas Awakino suusaväljak, 3 golfiväljakut, suurepärane lõhe- ja forellipüük ning jahipidamine.

"Simple but beautiful rooms, great little conservatories attached to each room with an outdoor patio space on each too. Very peaceful location with great soundproofing between rooms and the attached cafe. The cafe serves fabulous food and coffee in a relaxed vibe."

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"
