"• The check in process was very easy and relaxed. • Yaqoob and his family were very pleasant, informative, and gave good local advice for restaurants. • The view from the balcony was beautiful! We wish we had stayed longer than one night. • We recommend going to ‘Mountain Burger’ for dinner which is very close. Best burger we ever had."

"• There were no bed side tables or tables in the room. It would be useful to have at least one. We ended up bringing in the table from the balcony."

"Great location. It has a view over Misfat Al Abriyeen but is easy to get to. The hotels in the old village are tricky to access if your luggage is anything but backpacks. Big room. Nice breakfast. Clean. We stayed one night but could easily have stayed longer."

"Mohsin was a fantastic host — warm, welcoming, and made us feel at ease from the moment we arrived. The views are stunning and you can see them right from bed, which was a lovely way to wake up each morning. Location-wise, it’s perfectly situated at the start of the Balcony Walk, so we headed out early and had the trail mostly to ourselves. It does get busy after 10am, so the early start was a real advantage. Meals were delicious with generous portions, and the rooms were comfortable throughout. Would happily recommend to anyone exploring this part of Oman."

"The view. Just behind the property. Secluded and peaceful. Perfect for sunrise. Love the tent put outside. My 4th time and I would live to come back again. The swimming pool water heater needs to be fixed. Else all is ok."
