"The hotel is placed within the vicinity of Wieliczka Salt Mine,the beautiful park is overlooked by the hotel. We were lucky enough because on Friday morning we were greeted by SNOW, it was like unreal experience, something like waking up in a magic world. From the first moment to the last second we were welcomed and treated like old friends. The food is another magical story, however,hmmm I have a better idea: instead of reading my review, please book your next stay and Grand Sal Wieliczka and experience magic on your own"

"It was very stuck in the 80s/90s. What I liked was the exterior. Restaurant staff were very efficient especially the gentleman who worked there on the 9th. The grounds are calming."
"Interior could be dragged into 2025. More sockets so guests could charge their mobiles etc. had to remove the lamp in order to use the socket by the bed in both sides. And one socket near the door which must be for the vacuum. Not enough modern amenities as such."
"Great hotel, perfect location & Wonderful staff. The Gran Sal is in a lovely park with ample private hotel parking. Easy to reach on the train with a train every 30 minutes from the airport. The journey into Krakow old town only takes 25 minutes, and Polish rail travel is cheap!"

"Lovely old style building right next to Salt Mines visitor centre. Room was comfy and done up to a high standard. Highlight of the stay was the hotel restuarant. We really enjoyed our dinner. Food was well presented and top quality. B'Fast was good with lots of options. Ample parking right next to the hotel."

"Tõenäoliselt piirkonna parim ööbimiskoht hinna ja kvaliteedi osas. Kesklinn, parkimine hotelli ukse ees. Personal väga abivalmis. Olen transiidil aga minu peatumise põhjustas näiteks auto remondi vajadus laupäeval - personal leidis 5+ remonditöökoja, mis oli laupäeval avatud. Hotelli restoranis saab külma vaadiõlut 12 Zloti eest!!! Samuti kokteile ja magusaid desserte ... mida veel on õnneks vaja!!! Turistide poolt avastamata ja rüvetamata linn - jäta hea endale!"
