Scandic Linköping Väst is close to the E4 and roads 34 and 36. When you stay at the hotel, you are close to Gamla Linköping, with charming old houses, Valla leisure area and the Air Force Museum. "Budget hotel near the Ryd neighbourhood in Linkoping where most of the students of the LiU have their dorms. Walking distance from LiU. Comfortable room and good breakfast."

"The hotel had lovely clean rooms, the restaurant was very nice, has a great selection for breakfast. Shame the TVs only have the most basic of channels, it would have been nice to see at least YouTube as an option, especially as it only recognises hdmi input for a laptop."

I really liked the flip down bunk beds, what a great concept!"
"There's no AC - and while I understand it's been an unseasonably warm summer it would have been ideal to have. However, the hotel did provide a fan in our room and the windows opened so we made do! The facilities are a bit dated but that's not really a big deal as everything was clean and well managed."

"Lovely breakfast with homemade bread, delicius. Beautiful houses and seaside view. Very friendly staff. The room was simple but comfortable with an extra heater in it."
"Die Lage des Hauses ist besonders vorteilhaft: nah an Ystad (10 Min. ins Zentrum) und an der Küste (4 Min.), dabei kaum Bebauung in der Nachbarschaft, extrem ruhige Umgebung und trotz Durchgangsstraße kaum merklicher Verkehr. Das Haus selbst ist sehr geräumig und bietet einer Familie mit Kindern genügend Raum. Besonders schön ist die abgeschirmte Südterrasse mit einem weiträumigen Blick über Felder und Wald mit Hasen und Rehen. TV mit nationalen Kanälen und BBC News war ausreichend, um im Urlaub etwas informiert zu bleiben, außerdem lief das Internet stabil."
