Välibasseiniga Deer Cottage kinnitunud eraomandis olevas jahitalus Brakkefonteini maanteel Kirkwoodi piirnev. Puhkemaja on ümbritsetud metsiku eluga ja pärineb 1890. aastast. Külalised saavad suurelt terrassilt hirvi näha. Elutoas on kamin ja köök koos kõige vajalikuga. Kahes vannitoas on dušš või vann ja tasuta tualetitarbed. Majakeses on päikeseenergiaga valgustus ja gaasiallikad, külmkapp ja pliit. Aias on laste mänguväljak ja grillimisvahendid. Deer Cottage positsioneeritud Port Elizabethi lennujaamast ja randadest 1-tunnise autosõidu kaugusel. Addo elevandipark jääb 76 km kaugusele. Külalised saavad Kirkwoodist osta esmatarbekaupu või einestada mõnes 25 km raadiuses asuvas restoranis.

"The cottage is rustic, clean, quaint and comfortable. The outside braai area had light and the hearth was wonderful to stand next to. The night sky and stars were incredible. Seeing the 3 giraffe and the buck both evenings was an unexpected treat. The quietness was wonderful to experience. Johnston was a true gem of a gentleman!"

Die Unterkunft ist einfach mit einer zweckmässigen Einrichtung (mit Gasherd und Solar-Licht. ) Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. ...einfach grandios :-)"
