La Providence is set on a working wine farm in the magnificent Franschhoek valley at the foot of the Middagkrans mountains. The small and luxurious guest house features a pond. The rooms at La Providence are elegantly furnished with modern and sophisticated design and interior. Each is equipped with air conditioning, minibar and tea-and-coffee making facilities. The private bathrooms are fitted with a spacious shower. Some of the rooms have access to a private pool. Breakfast is served daily in the breakfast room or on the terrace. "Fantastic breakfast with a good selection of buffet as well as hot food cooked to order. The very friendly staff were always on hand to assist and to take food orders. There were two pools to choose from. A "honesty bar" was available at the second pool where you could help yourself to wine and drinks (even ice creams!) and then write it down on a list against your room bill. Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming and efficient at check in and check out. A special mention to the wonderful Israel, which welcomed us on arrival and guided us around the facilities and to our room. Rooms are gorgeous and well equipped with coffee machine, kettle and mini fridge. The coffee pods and milk were replenished daily. The views fro the hotel were stunning. I(t was a bit of a walk in to the main area of restaurants and beach, but only took us about 15 minutes and it was a flat, enjoyable walk."
