"s this is my first time visiting Switzerland, I wanted to share some impressions from my stay. Coming directly from Italy, where social interaction is very warm and open, I found the atmosphere here to be quite different—perhaps a bit more reserved or formal. At times, the service felt a little cold, and it seemed like there was an unspoken expectation for guests to already know certain local rules or 'how things work' without much explanation. While I understand that every culture has its own pace, a more proactive and friendly approach from the staff would have made me feel more welcome. It's a beautiful country, but as a first-time visitor, a bit of extra warmth goes a long way in making someone feel at home."

"Staying at a leisure centre was a first for me, but I was not disappointed. The swimming facilities on offer are absolutely first rate, absolutely pristine and virtually empty! There is a 25 metre lane pool, a diving board area, a separate large kids pool (and baby area), a fantastic heated outdoor pool with mountain view, and a modern safe & engaging water slide. Our kids 13 & 15 had a brilliant time. The on-site restaurant is very very good, with a wide menu. We stayed for two nights and ate there twice. There isn't a lot to do in the local town, but we did do a 3 hour walk up the nearby Fronalppass for exceptional views of the valley."

"We arrived after check in time, it was dark and there were no members of staff present on site. The key was left in the key safe. It seems this is normal in Switzerland. We also had to pay an unexpected tourist tax! which meant it wasn't such good value for money. Shared bathroom facilities were a major disadvantage, people don't have the same cleanliness standards one would wish for, felt like being in a school dormitory. There was a sink in the room however."
