There is no place to get fresh tea or coffee at the accommodation or in the village unless you bring your own. A very small inconvenience because there is a great restaurant next to the monastery a few minutes drive away.

"Such a beautiful place! Perfect to relax the spirit. We enjoyed our stay amidst the beautiful palm trees, at night the sky is like a blanket of stars. The food was excellent, real Egyptian. "Jovan is located by the river, and you can feel totally immersed in nature. The house even has swings outside and a volleyball net! We were given bikes to use and a big outdoor cooker and table. The house is really set up for use to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible, and our host even offered to take us fishing if we wanted. Inside, the house is clean and comfortable and very large for what we paid. We also loved the log burner! Overall we loved staying at Jovan and the kindness of our hosts."
