"We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful place in Speyside. The views were absolutely stunning, and the gardens, along with the surrounding wildlife, made it even more special. The host was incredibly sweet and friendly, making us feel right at home. The place was spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. "Excelente el tamaño de la habitación incluyendo su cama con sus múltiples capas de colchas para arroparse. Tenia un parador pequeño para colocar los objetos y mochilas. El baño contaba con agua caliente al girar la perilla derecha con la izquierda al ser el de frío regulaba que tan caliente uno deseaba. Excelente servicio a la habitación, incluso proveen con más rollo de papel higiénico en caso de requerir. El hotel y sus lugares aledaños son muy tranquilos y seguros. Igual uno debe ser precavido para evitar cualquier situación. La dueña del hotel responde casi inmediatamente si se presenta una novedad."

Lamentablemente uno se percató al momento de elegir en booking.com. No especifiqué desayunos, por ende no recibí mi desayuno. La habitación no estaba aislada del frío - no contaba con calefactor. La habitación solo contaba con dos jabones y no contaba con 1 satchet/frazo pequeño de shampoo.

It's hard to escape noise in this part of the world. There was some very loud music playing at local bars at night. We had to kill a lot of mosquitos

"Well kept clean house. The owner tried really hard to reach Western standard of living (limited by being in the Solomons of course). Solar hot water, large fridge/freezer of 300L plus. 24 hour electricity. No aircon but the house is extremely well ventilated. Open plan big kitchen, 4 burner gas hob, huge lounge with modern couches. 2 rooms + 1 bathroom on each side of the lounge, so totally 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Rooms are spacious, clean. Hot water shower! I wish I could share photos but booking.com doesn't have upload button."

1. The cost is per person, not per room, but somehow not clearly displayed on booking.com. 2. This is an isolated house on the water edge, private and peaceful, but 40min walking through muddy path to get to seghe town/Airport although a boat transfer is only 5min. You need to bring all your food in and cook during your stay. 3. You need to enquire about the boat transfer cost, to be clear what trips are included, and what are not, otherwise you will have surprise bill in the end. 4. The water pump stopped during my 2 showers, someone needed to run downstairs to restart the pump so I could finish my showers. 5. There is no mirror in the entire house, and no towel rails in either bathroom. Maybe the owner can install them?

"Although a 30-40 minute bus ride from Chania town, Summer Lodge is a Fantastic place if you want to be away from the busy places. A peaceful and pretty hotel with a Lovely vibe...There are places nearby to get food and drink and the mostly deserted beach is just a few minutes walk away. The bus stops are close by also - So nothing was ever too much effort. The owners of the property were kind, chatty and helpful. And last but not least the two cats at the hotel were a Joy to be around !! If I get the chance to go back to Chania I would definitely stay at this hotel again !9"

Being near the main road, although handy can be a bit noisy at times but it never bothered me too much. The individual refrigerator in the room was very noisy and I did wake up to it a couple of times.

Intermittent electricity due to poor infrastructure in Mount Hagen. The room is outside off a veranda so when it rains and the wind blows you might also get wet when going inside to use the toilet. I would have preferred a firmer mattress and slightly larger room.
