"Boendet ligger i Regent som ligger lite högre upp i bergen jämfört med Freetown. Det gör att det är lite svalare och inte så tryckande värme som nere i stan. Det är visserligen en bit att köra om man ska in i centrum, men samtidigt är det inte så mycket bilköer som inne i stan. Värdarna tog hand om oss på ett bra sätt och huset vi hyrde hade rätt bra standard. Hög standard för att vara i Sierra Leone."

"Incredible location near the beach and close to the shop. Beautiful large garden and extremely well equipped kitchen. And we loved the cat and the dogs and chickens in the garden. Lots of towels were a real luxury. Lovely comfy beds 😀 and very handy having the top loading washing machine. It felt like a home rather than just a holiday place and was much bigger than we expected from the photos and description on Booking.com"

A sign to the villa would have been really helpful and check in instructions before arriving. The safe didn't work and It needs a lock on the bathroom door please 🙂 Wifi and air con would be amazing, we appreciate its expensive and wifi is elusive on the island. Maybe more fans would help in the absence of air con . The TV didn't work unfortunately even on one channel. A paddle board would have been incredible!

There are two things that make this an amazing experience: 1.) The clarity of the sea water and the ease of access. 2.) "Lovely rustic hut. It’s perfect if you prefer something out of the way. Very peaceful and beautiful views. Due to the snow there was no car access, that was ok with us, but something to consider, short walk to the hut was pretty steep. Very wintery conditions and lots of snow was particularly charming."

"Everything was perfect! In real life, the house is even better than in the photos. It has four floors and a very interesting layout. Very cozy, with a lot of attention to details that make the stay comfortable. The location is excellent, and the view from the roof is wonderful. Communication with the host was instant whenever I had any questions, and he was always ready to help. I will definitely come back here again. I’m delighted!"

Podría decir que el olor en un inicio es bastante húmedo, pero ya después se acostumbra y pasa un poco desapercibido.

"It's a wonderful place to stay with a family. Close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. And at the same time, in quiet area away from railway. It is a place you feel at home, kitchen is full supplied with all utensils. The host is a nice man who will always help you and give fruit. I recommend it 100%"

"Будиночки розташовані в гарній локації з чудовим краєвидом. Є пледи для вечірніх посиденьок на терасі з диванчиками та кріслом-гойдалкою. Навколо все чистенько й доглянуто. Від будиночка веде стежка вгору пагорбом, звідки відкриваються захопливі краєвиди на гори. Усередині будинка є все необхідне для приготування їжі, а також решітка та шампури для мангала. Доречі, навіть можна замовити доставку їжі з ресторанчиків поблизу. Стосовно обігріву приміщення: є і обігрівачі і камін. Господарі не турбують, але завжди на зв'язку. Окремо в нашому серденьку залишився справжній господар території - німецька вівчарка Харді, пес водив нас місцевими стежками наче екскурсовод, супроводжував усюди і навіть дуркував з нами із задоволенням. Рекомандую бронювати без вагань."

"La Cabaña de Huerta Mar es un ambiente acogedor que brinda calidez y calma. Los anfitriones son personas muy amables y atentas a cualquier necesidad. Cuentan con una huerta adorable y unos acompañantes de cuatro patas cariñosos. Los techos elevados de la casa hacen que se mantenga el ambiente lo suficientemente fresco a comparación de la sensación térmica que se percibe al exterior. "Nice cabin in the jungle. The host was very supportive and waited for us in the apartment. He also gave us tips how to organise ourselfes in the village, which is a bit tricky in those closed areas in the middle of the jungle. The moskito nets where intact in Chez Faby (not in Carbet Bawouette)."

The village-wide WiFi does not work at all. There is free starlink at the grocery shop, otherwise you have no connection in the whole village. Apartment would need a thorough cleaning.
