Ac and wifi worked really well and you could use the kitchen for coffee. Jay and his dog were really helpful and friendly."

"One of the best places we have ever stayed; we really did not want to leave. Super high quality apartment and very comfortable. Well equipped for a holiday stay (but no oven). Lovely views across the mountains and also down to the lake. Easy walk down to the lake with a nice hotel/restaurant and even a small supermarket at the bottom of the road. About another 20 minutes into the town itself, along the footpath. So great location; peaceful and quiet without the Bled town crowds and traffic."

The hot water system will drive you mad - if, like us, you were brought up not to waste water! And bring your own shower gel etc.

"This was our second stay, but in the bigger villa. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. Having everything we needed right there was super convenient. Definitely made the whole trip smoother and more enjoyable. Can't wait to come back again sometime."

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. I wish you nothing but the best. I hope anyone that books your house respects and appreciates you and your beautiful whare/ house that you work hard to maintain. If ever in Rarotoanga book this house. Meitaki maata."

"This is an excellent small guesthouse and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area is very quiet and Bahir Dar is one of the most beautiful cities in Africa. The hosts, Ashenafi and Habtamu, showed us around and made us feel very welcome."

This is a new guesthouse and they are still getting all the facitilties that a western tourist would expect, but everything important was there including shower, cooking facilities, chairs and tables in the patio and a barbeque!

Very hard bed and it was cold during my stay - there was heating in the room but not the bathroom.

Some noise from other guests at night did affect the stay a little. Still, overall a pleasant experience...
