"This was a great budget friendly option to stay in downtown Halifax. It is a student residence, so there are shared bathrooms and common areas, with your own bedroom that has a desk, closet, fan, and fridge. We stayed on two different occasions (at the start and end of a Maritimes trip) and much preferred our room on the first floor, as it was roomier and easier to get to after a long day. Amazing location - close to the harbour and various restaurants and businesses."
Negative point :
"The first floor was hot in the room but cold in the common area, whereas the third floor was very hot (thankfully our room was cool, as it was cool weather and we opened the window). Both times, we completed the online check-in prior to arriving, but still had to complete the check-in again on the kiosk machine in the lobby, as our key codes were not activated. The first time, we texted the contact line and a staff member replied to us quickly to help us get it sorted."
