Quinta Alfaval on tüüpiline Alentejo majutusasutus, kus on esimesel korrusel paiknevad apartemendid ja välibassein. Toiduvalmistamise võimalusega majutusruumidest pääseb rohelisse aeda ja lõõgastavale päikeseterrassile. Majutusasutuses Alfaval on apartemendid ja stuudiokorterid, kus on üheinimesevoodi või 2 üheinimesevoodit. Kõik majutusruumid on privaatse vannitoa, aiavaate ja jalutuskäigu kaugusel basseinist. Mõnedes tubades on kööginurk, teistes on ühiskasutatavad toiduvalmistamiseks vajalikud vahendid. Mõnel apartemendil on oma kamin, terrass ja terrass. Nagu märgitud, on enamikust majutusruumidest otsene juurdepääs kas privaatsetele või ühistele toiduvalmistamise vahenditele. Külalised on teretulnud mugavalt toitu valmistama ja neid maitsema privaatselt oma apartemendis. Kohalikud restoranid on 10-minutilise autosõidu kaugusel ning pakuvad traditsiooniliselt rikkalikku Alentejo kööki koos kohalike tuntud veinidega. Serra D'ossa looduspark rajatud teisel pool teed, kus on lopsakad rohelised alad ja matkarajad. Alfaval on 10-minutilise autosõidu kaugusel Vila Viçosast, kus on sellised vaatamisväärsused nagu Casa dos Arcos, Paço Ducal de Vila Viçosa ja Vila Viçosa loss. Ajalooline Évora jääb 47-minutilise autosõidu kaugusele. Quinta Alfaval kinnitunud Lissaboni rahvusvahelisest lennujaamast 100-minutilise autosõidu kaugusel.

"Staying here was an excellent experience. Our toddler loved being able to roam around freely and enjoy all the facilities (lovely swimming pool with a child-friendly shallow area, trampoline, football, mini golf). For parents, there's plenty of hammocks and a fridge full of beer! It was safe, clean and comfortable. Great location too - just over the road there are tracks leading into the wooded hills which are great for walking and running. Sandra and Nuno are so friendly and helpful and are lovely hosts."

"The place was lovely and inviting. The hosts greeted us when we came in and made sure everything was according to what we needed. The house is well equipped, especially the kitchen. Nothing was missing. The outside was a dream for our boys: pool, basketball, football, trampoline, archery. We will certainly come again and recommend to our friends"
"The house was a bit cold in the rooms but the hosts brought us radiators which made it warmer. In the main living area there is a great fireplace (the wonderful host even turned it on for us after we were out of the house the whole day, so we will have a warm house when we came back)."

"The hosts live on the property and make sure that you have everything you could possibly need. The property is beautiful and quiet. It is on a country road, but is located so that it is easy to drive to many wonderful sites in the Alentejo region of Portugal. Nuno and Sandra are incredibly kind and charming. They made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Nuno even built us a fire in the fireplace since our first evening was rainy and cool. I 100% recommend. We had a two bedroom apartment with two large, comfortable beds and two bathrooms. Perfect for our needs. Quaint and traditional, but all the modern comforts."

The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
