Hiljuti renoveeritud residents Varchotel asetseb vaid 5 km kaugusel Elvasi kindlusest. Elamuis on tüüpiline Alentejo arhitektuur. Valgusküllastes tubades on trendikas kujundus, satelliittelevisioon ja lameekraaniga televiisor. Kõikides tubades on stiilne sisekujundus ja laualambid. Peatumiskohti Gurmeerestoranis Dom Januário on eraldi ala, kus serveeritakse iga päev hommikubuffeei Rootsi lauas. Teises piirkonnas pakutakse Alentejo piirkonna hõrgutisi, näiteks grillkana ning sealiha- ja lambaliha. Külalised saavad peatumiskohti aias asuval väliterrassil päevalehti lugeda.
